They are fed via a platform filled with the food at the top floor which later descends through the lower levels, stopping for a certain amount of time. This eventually leads to a conflict among the residents as the residents residing on the lower levels gets the leftover from the top level. This would be a good movie to watch if you are into action-comedy. Directed by Peter Berg, the storyline of this movie holds an ex-cop teaming up with his roommate to take down on criminals when two Boston police officers are murdered. 3. Bird Box

Directed by Susan Bier, the film Bird Box is based on a 2014 novel written by Josh Malerman. In this post-apocalyptic horror-thriller film the character Malorie Hayes played by Sandra Bullock tries to protect her children and herself from the forces which trigger people to look at them and force them to commit suicide.

4. The Irishman

The Irishman is an American crime film (2019) directed by Martin Scorsese which is based on a book called I Heard you Paint Houses by Charles Brandt. This film features an epic combination of Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, and Joe Pesci in which a truck driver Sheeran( Di Nero) becomes a hitman involving with a known mobster Russel Bufalino(Pesci) which includes his time working for a powerful team member Jimmy Hoffa (Pacino). 

3. Roma 

This 2018 Mexican drama film written and directed by Alfonso Cuaron, follows a storyline set in 1970 and 1971 which describes the life of a maid in a middle-class household. The story takes place in Colonial Roma which is the neighborhood of Mexico City.

The world premiere for this film was held at 75th Venice International Film Festival where it won the highest award which is the Golden Lion. After receiving universal acclaim, it was considered to be one of the best films in the year 2018.

4. The Half of It

The Half of it is a comedy-drama (2020) film written and directed by Alice Wu. This film stars Leah Lewis (Ellie Chu)  who lives in a remote part of Squahamish where she makes some extra money by doing homework for her fellow classmates. Paul Munsky, who happens to be a football player approaches her to write a love letter to a girl he likes, Aster Flores as he is unable to express his feeling towards this girl. This film was awarded Founders Award for a narrative story for Best Narrative Feature held at the 2020 Tribeca Film Festival.

5. Extraction

This film stars Chris Hemsworth as a fearless mercenary, who is to take on a deadly journey in his entire career. This involves an extraction of a kidnapped son in Bangladesh of a notorious Indian crime lord who is imprisoned. Directed by Sam Hargrave it is based on a novel Ciudad written by Ande Parks.
